You control the data Sowaka holds about you. This page explains how to view, correct, or permanently delete it. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and why.

What data we hold

Delete your account & data

To permanently delete your account and all associated personal data, send a request from your account email address to care@getsowaka.com with the subject “Delete my Sowaka data.” We verify the request is from the account owner before deleting.

What gets deleted: your profile, step records, strydes, streaks, bonuses, badges, team membership, and sign-in tokens. Deletion is permanent and is completed within 30 days of the request (often much sooner). Aggregated, non-identifying data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained, and we may keep limited records where the law requires.

Export or correct your data

To request a copy of your data or to fix something that’s wrong, email care@getsowaka.comfrom your account email. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Stop new data collection

You can revoke the Motion & Fitness (iOS) or Activity Recognition / Health Connect (Android) permission in your phone’s settings at any time. The app will stop reading new steps. Signing out stops step syncing on that device.
